A Piece Of The Pie

Religion is like trying to fit a piece of the pie into an already overworked, worn out, congested lifestyle,  hoping to somehow lessen the strains of a guilt-ridden, sin-conscience mindset that has led us into this chaotic existence.  Bloodless from the start, this way of life has no redemptive value and will not ignite us into what is called “the abundant life.”  Therefore leading me to the realization that He is not a piece of the pie, He is THE PIE! Now I am not trying to find time to fit Him into a place where there is little, if any room at all.  I have now through purposeful and loving relationship with King Jesus found Him to be the place where I fit.  He has become the new axis, the zenith point and the absolute center of this new found “abundant life”.  The constant striving to attain and the restlessness of wondering have given way to the ever increasing joy of knowing Him, the abundant life!
