Announcing the arrival of a Brand New Day! Not that our past experiences have left us empty, but our past has only been the dress rehearsal for what is now being unfolded to in and through a people. The overall view and approach of the life of our King Jesus being lived out through us can be summed up in these 4 words: It’s a new day.
This was inspired by the word of the Lord that was spoken from the lips of my natural father, Floyd J. Tate, in November of 2003. As he lay in a hospital bed waiting to undergo a surgery that would announce a sentence of death to his fleshly body, as well as announcing a new frontier for his future, he spoke emphatically and without hesitation proclaimed “It’s a NEW DAY. The days following seemed anything but new.
